PROGRAM OPTIONS AND FEES
The Stephen Sondheim Awards offers two initiatives to allow programs to participate in the awards at varying levels.
Education Initiative*: Includes participation in all masterclasses, workshops, and panels throughout the year.Â
*With the continued uncertainties of Covid-19 and the Delta Variant, schools may choose to participate in the Education Initiative and then add on the Adjudication Initiative by the Adjudication Initiative Deadline. Â
Adjudication Initiative*: Includes participation in all masterclasses, workshops, and panels throughout the year. Also includes: adjudication of performances; attendance to Best Actor/Best Actress Bootcamp & Showcase for nominated students; and recognition and performance opportunities at the Stephen Sondheim Awards Gala.Â
*With the continued uncertainties of Covid-19 and the Delta Variant, schools do not have to produce a full scale musical to participate in the Adjudication Initiative. Schools may submit a virtual program to be adjudicated along with up to 4 students to be eligible for a nomination in the Best Actor & Best Actress categories.
