We're so happy you're interested in learning more about the Sondheim Awards!
The Stephen Sondheim Awards aims to connect, cultivate, and celebrate high school musical theatre students and educators across Connecticut and Massachusetts. Throughout the year, the Stephen Sondheim Awards offers educational opportunities and individualized feedback to help schools grow their theatre programs year after year. This regional program culminates in a Tony Awards® style gala that honors outstanding productions, performances, and participation. It provides the opportunity for students and teachers to come together as a community to celebrate the magic of high school musical theatre!
APPLICATION CRITERIA
School must be a Connecticut or Massachusetts public, private or charter school.
School must produce a full length musical listed as a qualifying show from the NHSMTA to partake in Adjudication.
School must pay the participation fee.
School must provide up to four comp tickets for adjudicators to their production.
